- Practice out loud — the interview is spoken English, not only multiple choice.

- Know your N-400 story — travel, address, work, family — consistent dates.
- Bring required documents — follow your appointment notice; organize originals + copies.
- Arrive early — security lines take time; stay calm and polite.
- Listen fully before answering — ask to repeat if you do not understand.
- Answer truthfully and briefly — do not invent or over-explain.
- English every day — short daily practice beats long cramming once a week.
