At Freedom to Belong, our mission is clear: to help legal immigrants become U.S. citizens with dignity, knowledge, and confidence. This is not just a class program. Itβs a bridge between your story and your future. Itβs about belonging.
We know how common it is to feel lost, afraid of making mistakes, or thinking youβre not capable. But here, you are not alone. We are with you, step by step, until you achieve your citizenship.
π How the Program Works
- Immediate and Free Registration
- Anyone can sign up for free and start today.
- Weekly Live Zoom Classes
- Every Wednesday at 4:00 PM (Florida time).
- We teach 10 citizenship questions each week, with reading, writing, and explanations in English + Portuguese or Spanish.
- Classes are recorded and available for review.
- Immediate Access to the Library (Even Without Membership)
- All materials are freely available to members and non-members.
- We want every legal immigrant eligible for citizenship to become a citizen as soon as possible.
- Financial Aid for the Citizenship Fee ($725)
- Any member can apply for support.
- Applications are reviewed in order of request (first in, first out), based on available funds.
- If funds arenβt available immediately, applicants are placed on a transparent waiting list.
- Mentorship and Personal Support (for paid members)
- One-on-one sessions to answer questions, practice interviews, and provide emotional support.
